2007 Women's Day of Prayer Workshop2823 Eden Avenue, Cincinnati, OH Saturday, 11/3/2007 *Click here to see the flier!*
This year’s event was co-sponsored by the Grail of the U.S. and Growth in Motion, Inc.
Creative
movement runs deeper than dogmas and suspicions; it opens the
primordial voice in all of us. Women of diverse spiritualities will be
guided by Fanchon Shur in an embodied dialogue. No matter what
tradition we come from, exploring and creating prayer movements from
the Jewish, Christian, and Islamic traditions allows us to surrender to
a Greater Reality, the One. The event will combine personal reflection
and creative ritual-making. Fanchon choreographed a dance piece, “All
That Breathes,” that is based on a dialogue between the Jewish,
Christian, and Muslim faiths. We will be using movements and religious
costumes from this production in our own dance exploration of
spirituality.
Fanchon Shur, a renowned movement therapist and
healer, choreographed, “All that Breathes” based on a dialogue between
the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim faiths. We will be creating movement
and dance while using religious tabards from all three faith traditions
in our own exploration of spirituality.
